We Take The Pain Out of the Creative Process

THE PROCESS

  • If we haven’t met before, we will take some time to get to know each other. If possible, plan to give us a tour and introduce us to some of your team. We will listen closely to your needs and wants while getting a feel for what makes your organization shine.

  • This is where the creative process begins to take shape. We will get busy talking and writing out a concept for your video. Look at this as the bones of the project. Once we have dialed in a concept (or several) you will receive an email outlining everything with a cost estimate. Once you pass it around the office for a few days and we get a green light, it is time to get busy gathering information and socializing concepts with those involved.

  • This is where we distribute and capture questionnaire forms, any scripting, concept finalization, logos, meaningful company photos and videos. To keep it all organized, we will provide a shared web link where we can upload everything. When in doubt send it over. We don’t mind sifting through material to find a golden nugget for your story. This typically takes a couple of weeks depending on the clint’s availability to assign resources.

  • We will schedule a time to scout the location(s) of the shoot so that we have an idea what camera, lighting, and audio setup we will want to prepare for. Additionally, we will meet with the key stakeholders to ensure Video Shop and those invested in the outcome have a clear vision for the day(s) of filming.

  • We may film at a location for a couple of hours or several days just depending on what type of video you choose. Our goal is to capture plenty of material so we will lean on you to help lead the way if you don’t mind.

  • This is where your project starts coming to life. We will go through every clip and soundbite with a fine-toothed comb. We then pour through voice over talent (if applicable), make music selections, design any motion graphics. There will be plenty of collaboration on key decisions.

  • Once we emerge from our dungeon of video editing, we will send you a link to perhaps one of your greatest creative projects yet. Our goal is to make you the hero. You can pass it around and send over any final revision requests to make sure everything is exactly how you want it.

  • We created something special together so go show the world! Our goal is that every client is absolutely thrilled with the final product. We strive to be intentional with every project hoping all clients become a reference site. Don’t be surprised if we ask you down the road to talk about the work we did with you.
